In my league, NAME REDACTED, we have a huge policy of trying to stay with the girls during practice. Some skate all drills. Some skate some drills (like myself), and some skate none. But we’re all there for scrimmage time. Just like the rest of practice hones you, we get honed by seeing the action. Just knowing the rules isn’t enough. Though who knows what they’re doing behind closed doors, right? They might have another way of getting the ref eyes that might work just as well. Who knows! :D
